Convenient location, close to Metro, Egyptian Museum, shops and restaurants. Large room, comfortable bed, hot shower. Colorful and attractive renovation. Friendly and caring staff. Cozy and quiet room with balcony. Clean and well-maintained.
Not one thing.

Brandnew and beautiful hotel on the third floor with 7 clean and nicely decorated rooms with shower and TV. Breakfast is oke but gets a bit boring (omelette with bread and jam). People are friendly and helpfull.
They organize some tours (pyramids, islamitic cairo). I arranged a taxi + driver for 1 day to visit different pyramid sites (Dashur, Saqqara, Gizeh), to my opinion rather expensive (250 EP, not negotiable). Driver was okay but still stopped at papyrus and tapestry store.

The beds are very comfortable
The owner/manager is overbearing, unpleasant and a bit dodgy. Service is patchy and idiosyncratic. The rooms are not properly finished and fitted e.g. nowhere to hang towels, loo roll etc. They are all on one corridor right next to the reception and therefore noisy and lacking in privacy. We meant to book the Paris Hotel which turns out to be next door - the owner/manager claimed to own this hotel as well but I don't think it's true and seems to be some sort of scam.

great location, quite and comfortable room. Everything is clean, and hotel staff very friendly. I'll return if I visit Cairo again. We have also booked Pyramid trip car with the hotel, the driver / guide was very helpful. Fair price, no hassle.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Cairo. Its central location makes it convenient for exploring all the attractions in the area. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that your stay is comfortable. The rooms are basic but clean, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The value for money is excellent, allowing you to enjoy a pleasant stay without breaking the bank.
Wifi and breakfast could be better, but it was satisfactory.

Location
Water cut for 3 times in the 4 days. Once it was cut the whole day. The 5th floor located hotel has no functional lift. Besides when using the stairs you should switch your mobile lights on to go upstairs. There is only light in the floor of the hotel. you need to keep standing to watch tv as it is on the wool in different direction of the bed. Besides there are not hunger for the clothes....etc

The hotel is clean and safe, and situated in a very convenient location close to the Sadat metro terminal, which makes travel via metro easy. Alternatively, making your own way to explore the rest of Cairo, by walking up midan tahrir haab, is a good choice.
The lift isn't working, so access to the hotel is via a flight of steps. There was one night when the lights lining the stairs were off, and I could not even see anything in front of me. And when I got back to the hotel really tired, climbing the stairs was a dampener.

It´s a nice hostel with very friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. They gave us a rich and very good breakfast. The hostel is located 500m away of tahir square and it is only a walk of few minutes to the egyptian museum. There are some atms, restaurants and a bar where you can get cold beer next to the hostel.
If you get a room to the main street it is a little bit noisy.
